Biography

Stephanie M. Tuthill is a founding partner of Tuthill & Hughes LLP. Prior to founding Tuthill & Hughes LLP, Ms. Tuthill was a partner of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, where she practiced for twenty-two years. Her practice emphasizes planning for individuals, estates, trusts and closely-held businesses, probate and trust litigation, institutional and family private foundations, and community foundations.

Ms. Tuthill's planning practice includes marital planning, death planning and disability planning, focusing on the use of wills, trusts, marital agreements, powers of attorney and living wills. Ms. Tuthill’s litigation experience includes will contests, construction actions, charitable deviation actions and fiduciary issues litigation. Her community and private foundation experience includes charitable gift planning, grant-making, governance issues, reporting and other tax compliance matters. She is a frequent conference and seminar speaker.
